While surfing the internet I decided to look at the "Effects of Alcohol", I found it incredibly sad that I laughed at a couple of the "effects" remembering past experiences of stuff that I did or our friends : First there is Euphoria with a BAC of .03 to .12 % * They become more self-confident or daring. * Their attention span shortens. * They may look flushed. * Their judgement is not as good -- they may say the first thought that comes to mind, rather than an appropriate comment for the given situation. * They have trouble with fine movements, such as writing or signing their name. Second is Excitement with a BAC of .09 to .25% * They become sleepy. * They have trouble understanding or remembering things (even recent events). * They do not react to situations as quickly (if they spill a drink they may just stare at it).(Check) * Their body movements are uncoordinated. * They begin to lose their balance easily. * Their vision becomes blurry. * They may have trouble sensing things (hearing, tasting, feeling, etc.). Then comes Confusion with a BAC of .18 to .30% * They are confused -- might not know where they are or what they are doing. * They are dizzy and may stagger. * They may be highly emotional -- aggressive, withdrawn or overly affectionate. * They cannot see clearly. * They are sleepy. * They have slurred speech. * They have uncoordinated movements (trouble catching an object thrown to them). * They may not feel pain as readily as a sober person. Up next is Stupor with a BAC of .25 to .40 % * They can barely move at all. * They cannot respond to stimuli. * They cannot stand or walk. * They may vomit. * They may lapse in and out of consciousness. Then the following from .35 to .50 % is Coma and Death. I just thought it was interesting to gage with past experiences to actually see how high my BAC/friend's BAC were. Crazy! And again, it's sad that I laughed at memories from a couple symptomes from each stage. Saw on ONTD and couldn't resist Fangoria.com reported that Strike Entertainment, the production company behind the Dawn of the Dead remake and Slither, is looking for writers to draft a prequel to John Carpenter's classic SF movie The Thing. Other proposed Thing-related projects have come and gone in recent years. Universal released Carpenter's 1982 movie, which was an update of 1952's The Thing From Another World, which in turn was based on John W. Campbell Jr.'s short story "Who Goes There?" | | Saturday, September 9th, 2006 | | 7:36 am |
Holy Shit
Now I'll have to see this movie just because of John Travolta as: Teasing out Travolta Updated 9/7/2006 11:36 PM ET By Scott Bowles and Susan Wloszczyna, USA TODAY Hollywood musicals haven't been a sure thing lately, so the brain trust behind Hairspray wanted a ringer for their remake. And who better than the guy who cut a rug in Grease and Saturday Night Fever? "John Travolta is our generation's greatest musical star," says Hairspray producer Neil Meron. "With those two movies, he became an icon of movie musicals. And there aren't many left." Nor are there many hits. After Moulin Rouge and Chicago, many predicted Hollywood would be dancing its way to a genre revival. But The Producers, Rent and The Phantom of the Opera stumbled. So filmmakers needed a star who sings as well as he acts, says director Adam Shankman. Travolta, in drag, plays Edna Turnblad, whose daughter Tracy (newcomer Nikki Blonsky) confronts racism in 1960s Baltimore. Travolta inherits the role from Divine in the original 1988 film and Harvey Fierstein in the Broadway show. The real discovery, Shankman says, is the chemistry between the veteran and rookie. "When she walked on set for the first time, it was like she had been doing it for 30 years. John melts around her. They are so cute together, it's unbelievable." | | Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 | | 3:01 am |

So it is around 67 degrees, drizzling rain, and the sky is basically one shade of grey. Is it weird that I enjoy this weather? Random thought : Where will I be in 5 years? Current Mood: pensiveCurrent Music: Do you realize- The Flaming Lips | | Saturday, August 26th, 2006 | | 8:35 am |
Wow,I can't believe it's Friday August 26th already....crazy how fast time flew by!!! Well, I'm pretty pysched about classes starting up again but I know two weeks in I'll be praying for summer. This summer was amazing and it's sad to see it come to a close along with lots of goodbyes to friends:( Today is the day I actually pull an allnighter so I can go to sleep at a decent time tonight. Also, for Mother's Day I planted a bunch of seeds around the house and the morning glory flowers took over our front porch. These suckers took off in only 2 and a half months, I'm pretty pleased: Current Mood: pensiveCurrent Music: Don't Stop Believin' - Journey | | Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 | | 2:59 am |

As of late I've been spending my time watching Spin City and reading Bulgakov's The Master and The Margarita. Oh, I forgot to mention how Emily and I dominated Monopoly. It was pretty sweet that we had hotels on every single thing and Jonathan went out landing on Boardwalk. GO CHEMILY!!! OR EMARLIE!?! *if i were in a relationship* | Your Love Style is Agape | You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner. Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare. You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie. Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you. For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love. |

So now in order to try to get back on a normal eating habit I've been having to force feed myself which is pretty awful.I was all for the 5 pound weight loss but now i'm losing a bit more than I had wanted,WHY CANT THERE BE A HAPPY EQUILIBRIUM!!
